Life at the Transitional Living Center is life in community, guided by a set of core values that operate on the principle that each participant is connected to every other participant and staff. The hope of the created community is that respect and grace can flourish as agents for positive change for everyone.

  • The TLC Coordinator is here to support you and will meet with you weekly as you work toward your goals.

  • As you progress towards living on your own, you will be encouraged to spend at least 20 hours outside of the home to either attend school, work full or part time, or volunteer.

  • Attending weekly therapy sessions and keeping all scheduled appointments with both staff and outside providers is an important part of your continued healing.

  • If you are a mom, this is a chance to focus on your independence so that you can be a better support for your child(ren). Your children are welcome to visit you, but they are not able to live with you at the Transitional Living Center.

TLC QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification for living at the TLC is based on graduation from an accepted long term residential program, interview, and the recommendation of your previous Program Director.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

While living at the TLC, you will have the option to apply for employment at ONE MORE, the social enterprise for Wings of Refuge, and make hand-crafted products.
